Nick is attracted to the deep and dark with dazzling cracks of light in poetry, plays, stories, spoken word and screenplays for film and TV. He likes exploring love, courage, fear, deceit and death. He trained with the great Jack Grapes. He's inspired by Vladimir Nabokov, Julian Barnes, Harold Pinter, Sarah Kane, Peter Ackroyd, Hemingway, the Romantic Poets, Seamus Heaney, the Beats, Lemn Sissay, Clint Dyer, Roy Williams. A while back Nick fell in love with Brazil and the Portuguese language. He admires Fernando Pessoa, Clarice Lispector and Paolo Coelho.
Nick wrote, directed and scored the 8 part audio psychodrama
